Tuesday January 7th 1936 Hattie was gone down town most of the forenoon. I did not get up very early. read some and folded towels for the store for Hattie to hem. cold and bad. Wednesday January 8th 1936 I read the papers most of the forenoon. The Girls went to their crotchet club in PM by taxi. Rob brought them home. I folded towels and read. snowed all day. Thursday January 9th 1936 I read all forenoon to finish a book. Alice busy cleaning up stairs. I was sleeping in PM when Dr Ned came. he thinks I am getting along all right. I wrote Nellie Buswell later. Friday January 10th 1936 I did not get up early. weather some better. Hattie away part of the PM. I slept some, read in a book, talked over the phone, and listened to radio in evening. Emma brought my dress in AM. Mary here in afternoon. Saturday January 11th 1935 We were all home for the day. I read some and knit a little. Rob not here for lunch & no mail. Sunday January 12th 1935 Hattie to S S & Church. I read some and wrote to Mrs Willish in Piketon and Emma Herriott. Ott & William were here in PM. Ott brought deposit slip for 25.00 from Community service bond. Rob & Cora away in PM. Colder tonight. Listened to radio.
