Monday January 13th 1936 A cold day. Cora went down town with Rob in AM. Out with The Swishers in PM. Hattie to Home board meeting. I read some and knit some. Letter from Birdie. Tuesday January 14th 1936 I read papers in AM. Letters from Laura and Emma Herriott. Hattie down town in AM. Alice down town. I wrote The Levegoods in Maywood. Wednesday January 15th 1936 I did not get up very early, folded some towels to hem. read some. The girls went to their crotchet club in PM. Cora drove. The streets bad. Thursday January 16th 1936 The girls went to Effie Stevens to a Red luncheon. Cora came home about 4:30 but Hattie stopped at The Church for supper. They used taxis today. I read some and folded more towels as usual rested in PM. Friday January 17th 1936 Hattie was home all day. Cora away in afternoon. Dr Ned Smith out. He made a little change in my medicine. It snowed most of the afternoon. Rob brought me some different medicine tonight. Saturday January 18th 1936 Such a deep snow. There was little traffic down here. Rob gone all day. I read some, knit a little, and slept late in the afternoon. The girls home all day long with their work. Letter from Ida Anderson and Winnie.
