29. went down to visit Miss Murphy. She trimmed me a hat in fine style I think it is the prettiest hat I ever had. Mother put in the whole afternoon washing out old things to make into carpet rags. I had the tooth-ache so bad at night that I could not work I went to bed early. Friday March 10th 1876. It was positively sultry this morning it was so warm. I dident do much of any thing in the forenoon. Mollie was here some time. Soon after dinner Hatt and I both got ready to go to town I went up to the dentist's and had two teeth drawn. We then went down to McCalls. I came home about five oclock. But Hatt stayed over all night. I sewed carpet rags all the evening. Saturday March 11th 1876. It was much colder this morning. Winnie came over with Hattie when she came home We put in a faithful day at the carpet rags In the evening we had company. A good time.
