60. Tuesday May 30th 1876. Hatt and I started to the valley early this morning We spent a pleasant day I put in my time sewing for Aunt Emma When we came home We found a letter here from Charlie he wants Hatt to come down there and Mother and Rob has concluded she can go. I was tired and went to bed early. Wednesday May 31st 1876. We girls took an early start to town this morning It was very warm and we had a very fatigueing forenoon of it. For it was eleven oclock before we were ready to come home. I worked all the afternoon on Hatt's white over-skirt. I went to town again after supper And wrote a letter to Lizzie Lindley in the evening. Thursday June 1st 1876. Mother and I went to town this morning I got trimmings for Hatts sacque. I worked on it a little in the afternoon and
