65 sewed all the afternoon. After supper I went over to town in the buggy I did a lot of trading. Winnie rode home with me and stayed all night. I helped finish up a pair of pants for Father after I came home. Sunday June 11th 1876. I worked all the forenoon cleaning up the house and helping about the dinner Rob had three gentlemen friends here for dinner. Late in the afternoon him and I had a splendid horse-back ride He went to church at night and I helped do the milking. A beautiful day. Monday June 12th 1876. I got the washing all done before noon and ironed in the afternoon. After supper Rob and I took a long ride. Went down the river and up to Robinsons and then out west from there and came home the other road. We saw such a magnificent rainbow in the southeast. I wrote to Hattie today.
