79. Monday July 10th 1876. We girls began the washing this morning after We had the other work all done up. Hatt got the boys to picking cherries while she seeded them ready to put up. Mother and Father got home just as we had dinner ready. After dinner we finished the washing and put up nine quarts of cherries and twenty of raspberries. Hatt and Lou went after part of the raspberries. Tuesday July 11th 1876 As soon as we finished the house-work this morning and while Lou did her ironing, Hatt and I went down to Robinsons for White currants and goose-berries. It was eleven oclock when we got home. Mother went to town in the afternoon and while she was gone we put up the goose-berries and ironed. We put up more raspberries in the evening. I had a letter from Al today. Weather intensely warm.
