92. Saturday August 12th 1876. I went down to Aunt Marys for a pattern this morning and then came up through town and did a lot of trading. I ironed till noon after I got home and sewed some in the afternoon. Weather too warm for any earthly use. Ella went home today. Sunday August 13th 1876. It was a terribly warm day I helped about the house-work all the morning and after dinner wrote some letters. Hattie came home late in the afternoon and went riding in the evening. Rob and I took a long horse-back ride. I got lunch after we came home and all hands went to bed early. Monday August 14th 1876. I got an early start at the washing this morning and finished it all up before noon. Mother and I rode over to town in the afternoon and got a lot of stuff. I walked over late in the afternoon with a gallon of cream. We girls ironed before supper. I am very tired tonight.
