93. Tuesday August 15th 1876 I began early this morning to cut out a couple of wrappers for Aunt Emma. I had only just got them in good shape to sew at when Aunt Lib came to take Hattie to the valley. And she took them down there to finish them. I worked the whole afternoon winding carpet rags ready to color. still very warm. Wednesday August 16th 1876. I sewed a little for myself this morning while Mother went to town and cut carpet rags in the afternoon and helped Mother color the other rags. Warmer than yesterday. Thursday August 17th 1876. I helped with the house-work and in the carpet rags all day long. Weather still warm. I had a letter from Lizzie Lindley today she has a boy baby. Friday August 18th 1876. We finished the rags all up today. I went over to Mattie Fletchers a few moments after supper. I am nearly sick with a cold. Weather very warm.
