108 Wednesday September 27th 1876. I cut Otts shirts this morning and began work on them. Aunty Walker spent the day here I went to town just before supper again I got some buttons and other notions. I sewed in the evening. Thursday September 28th 1876. Hatt washed this morning and I cleaned the house all up in good shape. Mother went to the fair in the afternoon and I ironed and baked the bread I knit a little in the evening on a wristlet for Father. A cold windy day. Friday September 29th 1876 I went to town when Rob went to school and we engaged two new coal stoves that we are going to use this winter. I got Hatt and I a new hat apiece with trimmings. Lizzie Lindley with her children spent the day here. Emma Weldie and Jim took dinner here. We girls went to society with Mr Bently and Mr Pottle. Weather chilly and disagreeable.
