131 Thursday December 14th 1876. I staid at home and sewed all day I did I dont know how many odd jobs and a lot of mending that I saw Mother wasent going to get time to do. Hatt went to town tonight and I sewed on her dress all the evening. I was awful tired tonight Friday December 15th 1876. I sewed all day on Hatts dress. Just at supper time it came up a terrible blow I dont think I ever saw a worse. We young folks were in a state of mind But finally all went over Rob and I to the ball. We had a splendid time. But it was terribly cold when we come home. Saturday December 16th 1876 I was right here at home all day I finished Hatts dress and she put it on and went over to Wins to spend the evening I helped get the supper over and then cleaned out my work basket and cut some carpet rags. Went to bed early.
