233 put down the carpet in those rooms. And I got Cattrells room all fixed up for him. Rob went over for some of his furniture but it looked so much like rain he came back without it. The boys most of them went to society tonight and it rained terribly. I was very tired and went to bed early. Saturday September 15th 1877. I went right at the ironing this morning as soon as I had helped with the dishes. I got it done by noon. After dinner I baked three cakes, and helped Rob put the furniture in his room. Him and Hatt put the carpet down in the sitting room and the boys moved the piano in. Mother went to town this afternoon. Sunday September 16th 1877. I was working around the house all the forenoon. As soon as the dinner work was done I changed my dress and walked down to Robinsons. When I got home helped with the supper. Win was over. I wrote a short letter to Pete in the evening. Weather colder.
