245 Tuesday October 23rd 1877. I sewed all day on my black dress. I put in all the evening fixing me up some ties and trimming me a hat. Wednesday October 24th 1877. It took me all day to finish up my dress. I got it wrong and had to change it and go to town for more trimming. It was late before I got my things fixed up ready to go. Aunt Mellissa came over tonight. A letter from Lizzie. Thursday October 25th 1877. Lee came over to the depot with me and I got started in good time. It was raining when I got to Burlington at ten oclock. Charlie was at the depot I went up to the house and stayed till toward evening when I went up to Miss Lewis. I wrote a postal to Hattie. Friday October 26th 1877. We were at home all the morning but in the afternoon Miss Lewis and I went down to the store and then out on South hill. It was dark when we got home. Charlie came up. Saturday October 27th 1877. I called on Mrs Huebner this morning and in the afternoon Miss Lewis and I went to see Frank Winter. As soon as we got back I went down the house and changed my
