Monday January 16, 1933. A fine day, I rode to Oxford with Rob, such a good chance to talk to him. I am with him so seldom. It was late when I got home to get the dinner Birdie and I are fixing a dress for her. In the evening I wrote letters to Emma Herriott and Mrs. Falk. To bed early. Tuesday January 17, 1933. We slept late. But got around with the work to go down to Stevens with Cora and Hattie. Later in the day Elmer Ida and Aunt Emma came for a call. Such a nice time Home about 4.30. Soon after that Ott called to tell me Arth Folsom died yesterday. Letter from Alice Cardin & Winnie Wednesday January 18, 1933 It had rained and froze till the streets were a glare of ice and kept on most of the day. It was late when we got up.
