Monday February 18- 1933 Still very cold. We were home all day. Slept in PM. Ott came and brought me $90.00 from Edward [Rote?] and $38.50 interest from Mrs. Bishett I paid Mrs. Gay $25.00. The rent for February all paid. I was down stairs in evening Tuesday February 14- 1933 A cold day and very slippery. But Rob took Hattie and me over to Mildred McCallisters a nice days visit We came home by taxi and Hattie stayed here till Rob went to supper. Read in evening & went to bed early Wednesday February 15- 1933 Did the AM work and Mary look me up town Was in the bank to get travelers checks, and did other errands. I decided to go to Florida next week. I talked to Mr Meacham about tickets. Wrote Winnie Mrs Falk, Lorna & Edith and Mattie Stitt Letter from Winnie It thawed some today. Thursday February 16-1933 We were both home all day. Birdie got word her cousin Mary Cameron in Omaha was dead and got things ready to go if sent for. I rested awhile in afternoon. I had a nice letter from Grace Taylor. Read in evening Friday February 17- 1933 I cleaned cupboards and did other work in the forenoon. Hattie here awhile and took Birdie with her for the rest of the day. I went out to see Aunt Erma and came down town in the bus. Were at Dr Ned Smith's office He gave me a good report. Letters from Lorna and Louie Brennan. I wrote Laura & Grace Taylor in evening Cards to Ott Siebert and Mrs. Doyle.
