Monday, April 3, 1933 Still raining, the forenoon soon gone. John took me down to see Josephine Baker in the afternoon. Tuesday, April 4, 1933 I had letter from Hattie and Mrs. Folk this AM. John took me to Piketon. Such a nice ride. I had dinner with the Brown girls. We went to see Mrs. Willish and a Mrs. Cooper. After supper Lou and I called on the "[illegible]. We then walked to the church. The Coopers' car took us home. Wednesday, April 5, 1933 Lou and I walked over to Andersons. I stopped at Coopers' coming back. We had the "[illegible]" at John Cooper's. Lou Brown and I called on Dr. "{Focklor?]"'s cousin in afternoon. The evening with the girls. Thursday, April 6, 1933 I left for Chillicothe at 9:35. Lou walked with me over to Andersons where I took the bus. After dinner John and Mattie went to Frankfort to a funeral. I went with them and spent the time with Marnie Briggs. Then called at Dick Robinson's. Such a beautiful ride home over the hills. Friday, April 7, 1933 I packed my suitcase in AM. At three o'clock Mrs. Gibbs came to take me to ride. We took it to the depot and checked it home. I put the check in a letter to Ott. I have enjoyed my stay here so much.
