Saturday April 8- 1933 We were up at 5 o'clock Mattie got breakfast for all of us. The Taxi came for me, to take the 6 o'clock train a quick change at Cincinnatti and pleasant ride to Chicago reaching there at three o'clock I went out to Winnies by taxi. I got a room for myself. Sunday April 9- 1933 The AM here with Winnie I wrote Hattie and cards to Ida & Mrs Falk I Talked to Flora [Leragood]?. They came at three oclock and took us to ride through the fair grounds Had supper down town and to [Orcherstra]? Hall to church. Monday April 10- 1933 We were home all day. Weather threatening with hard rain in PM. spent time writing reading & resting Tuesday April 11- 1933 I had letters from Hattie & [Lorna]? this morning Mrs [Goodwin]? came early Later we went to the Belden St Church to a missionary meeting. Home at four o'clock Mrs {Goodwins]? son came for her early in the evening Wednesday April 12- 1933 I did some telephoning I wrote [Louis]? [Brewnor]? [&]? Hattie soon after lunch went out to see [Emma]? [Herriott]?. To bed early Thursday April 13- 1933 Went out to Mrs [Driuse]? for lunch. Very pleasant [party]? Charlotte there. Later we went to a musical to hear [her]? sing. Met some pleasant people. It was supper time when we got home. Very cold for so late in the season.
