Thursday May 25- 1933 I ironed and put up curtains. Another letter from [Lorna]?. They did not expect to stay much longer. Rob took me up to Dr [Whities]? at three o'clock. I will need another radium treatment. Just as I got back Mrs Gay asked me to ride to Riverside with her. I told her I could not keep these rooms another year. Letter from Ida. Friday May 26- 1933 I washed curtains in the back room and kitchen. Soon ofter dinner Rob & Hattie came for me. She and I went to see "George Arliss in I am a nothing man" I came right home in a bus. She walked down later. I was so tired. I paid Mrs Gay $45.00 the rent for June. letter from Blanche Bloch. Saturday May 27- 1933 I put up the last of the curtains. Ott here for dinner. I rested awhile. Rob took me with him to Oxford late in PM. I stopped at The Library. Hattie here in the evening she brought 'Homer" with her. Sunday May 28- [1938.]? I got ready by ten o'clock to go to Burlington with The [Whitrtones]?. They were a little late in getting started. It rained on us both ways. Mrs [Winslow]? had a fine dinner for us. Such a nice visit too. The [Whitrtones]? brought a chair Birdie gave them. We got home at seven o'clock. A hard rain just then. The visit today was in honor of Robs birth-day. He will be 50 years old tomorrow.
