Sunday July 23- 1933 I am [82]? years old today. The [Peckhams]? got [started]? east about nine oclock. I was so glad to see them and for them to meet the rest of the family. The [Whititores]? and nephew and had dinner in "[illegible] Park} we left Hattie for a few days visit. A very happy day wrote Celt [Diebert]? Monday July 24 1933 It was cooler. I cleaned out the [illegible] trunk in the [garret]?. Did some washing. Rob took me up town to see Dr [Whites]?. soon after I got home [Lorna]? phoned that she and Edith would drive over tomorrow. After supper Williams [&]? Mary came for me wrote [Birdie]? [&]? [Mellie]? Tuesday July 25- 1933 I was busy most of the forenoon The girls got here a few minutes after twelce. Mrs [Wolf]? came with them. she stays at [Hedges]?. After supper they got Mildred [Sterns]? and at celts. Such a nice time a letter from [Grace]? [McCallister]? tells [Ian]? [illegible] is dead. Wednesday July 26- 1933 Celt. Floyd [&]? [Mallie]? came early for a call. Then the girls went up to see [Cord]?. The Hedges [&]? [Jemmie]? brought Sophia here. We got a late start. But had dinner at Mt Pleasant. Stopped to see The [Burnells]? in [Earthage]? had supper in [Macomb]? and reached home at 9.30 Not so very tired such a nice trip. Soon went to bed.
