Tuesday December 26- 1933 very cold. I did the regular wash. celt here for lunch I looked over old cards to destroy in the afternoon. I got a lot of mail. Wrote Lorna [&]? Edith after supper. Wednesday December 27- 1933 I read some in the forenoon Soon after dinner Rob [&]? Hattie came to take me to George Folsoms funeral. It was very simple and appropriate. Celt Hattie and I sat in a room apart with Mr [&]? Mrs Brown I went to the cemetery. But Hattie up town before coming down here for the rest of the afternoon wrote Winnie Thursday December 28- 1933 Was busy in forenoon. Did some washing. Celt here for dinner William took me over there for the oftermorn Mary away. William brought me home after supper. a cold day. Card from Mrs [Searlers]? Friday December 29- 1933 I had letters from Birdie and Lorna and wrote Mrs [Searles]? in AM. Mary came at one oclock and we went to a luncheon Hattie gone at "Reachandts]?" after we ate spent the rest of the aftermorn at [Whetstones]? Mary brought me home wrote LeErand in evening. Saturday December 30- 1933 [Warmer]? today. the snow melted away. I was busy with the work most of the forenoon. [crotched]? on a table cover I am making wrote [Fannie]? [Eavens]? in Los Angelas and Mrs Sheldrich. a card to Lorna
