Friday July 6- 1934 Rob took Cora to Cedar Rapids for the train north. Then about noon Hattie [&]? I went with him to Burlington to get Birdie. He went on father. we had supper at Mrs Winslowe It was late when we got home. Rob was too tired and sleepy to do a safe job of driving and no one to help with it. Saturday July 7- 1934 I was busy with things here till 12.30 went home with William [&]? Mary. I did some sewing over there. Then Mary and I went up to Hatties. She left me here at 5.30 I was very tired and not very well. Went to bed early Sunday July 8- 1934 I went to SS [&]? church with The Andersons. It was late when we got home I ate some lunch and was on the bed all aftermorn. Went to bed again at 9. oclock Monday July 9- 1934 It rained in AM. I had letter from Lorna. They will be over the last of the week for me to go home with them. I wrote Lorna Winnie [&]? Julia McCallister Went up to Hatties in evening to see fire works Tuesday July 10-1934 I did not feel well. I did what work I had to. Was on the couch all PM. Dr Ned stopped to see me. I rode awhile in the evening with Mary [&]? Buddy. my heart is the trouble Wednesday July 11- 1934 Went home with Rob a noon. Letter from Winnie and Lorna I wrote cards to her [&]? Lorna as well as to Ida. We were all over to Celts for supper and evening on porch.
