148 Wednesday December 26 1934 It was below zero this morning. I spent the day here, reading & resting [Cora?] busy with her books They brought me home after supper. More mail today. Wrote Hattie Thursday December 27 1934 I put away my things and was busy with different things Mary came for me late in PM to stay till after supper when she brought me home Buddy was along and we went to a movie weather warm Friday December 28 1934 I had a card from Hattie mailed at Atlanta Ga Mrs Gay not well, had some help for the day I wrote Winnie and crotcheted all my spare time a dark cold day. Got fruit cake from Will Work. Saturday December 29 1934 Mrs Gay did not go to the shop today. She is better. Mrs Walsh was here doing the washing and other work. Mary took me up town in the afternoon I got some thread to make some-thing for Mrs Gay. Letters from Lorna Mrs Raymond & Birdie I wrote Lorna Hattie & cards to Will Work Caroline Peckham Harry [Able?], Birdie & Mary Cox. Sunday December 30 1934 I went to church with the Andersons. Soon after dinner I rode to West Liberty with Mrs Gay. I did some writing in the evening. The Byingtons have company. The Chamberlin boys, from New York.
