Sunday June 21st 1931 Went to S S & church. Late in the afternoon had a fine ride taking Olive Reid with us. Called at Miss Louise Allens before we came home. Monday June 22- 1931 A frightful hot day. Edith did washing. I fixed curtains George Parsons here for dinner. Later we cleaned the china After supper took a ride some cooler letter from Mrs Falk Tuesday June 23- 1931 There was a hard rain early. Later Laura went up town I wrote Hattie & Emma Herriott The girls busy getting ready for company tomorrow. rode in evening Wednesday June 24- 1931 The girls busy all AM The ladies came at 12.30 It was very warm. The dinner was good and the ladies did not mind the heat. After they went we washed dishes We went to ride taking Miss Lou Allen and Mrs Nichols Thursday June 25- 1931 Edith had help to pick cherries till noon I helped with the seeding. Laura doing the canning. Laura and I went to Mrs Alexanders for supper. Edith took us and came for us. Weather very hot. letter from Hattie. Friday June 26- 1931 The heat last night awful. We finished the cherries early We went up town and I bought a thin dress another letter from Hattie she went to Chicago with Ott & Mary Edith had a committee meeting here in the evening
