Wednesday January 20- 1932 A bad night. Hattie came down in time to get my breakfast. I was in bed most of the day. Dr Ned Smith here late in forenoon. Rob & Ott here. William & Mary in evening. Letter from Ida tells Nellie is home from Milwaukee after serious operation. Both The Citizens Saving & trust & First National Banks closed today. Wrote Ida & Winnie Thursday January 21st 1932 I slept better last night. Lay down much of the time The family here at different times. The weather mild and cloudy. I sent paper to LeGrand with items about the banks Friday January 22- 1932 The Dr here again this morning and did a little surgical work. Ott & Rob both here a couple of times Hattie sewing on the machine Ida Anderson here part of afternoon I have been very uncomfortable A letter from Laura about bank conditions there William & Mary here in the evening. Saturday January 23- 1932 I was in bed most of the day. Nellie Swisher here in PM. I was better till early evening. The Dr here late in evening. William & Mary here as usual Sunday January 24- 1932. Still suffering. The Dr here just before noon. Hattie got us a nice dinner. Tishie Hedges here and Ott here for a long call in PM. Weather fine Wrote Emma Herriott. I felt wretched in evening William & Mary here. Went to bed at eleven feeling better
