Thursday April 21st 1932. I did a little sewing for Mrs Gay in forenoon The afternoon I devoted to fixing the sleeves in my red satin dress. I read in evening. Friday April 22- 1932. I did some ironing and gave the rooms a good cleaning. Letter from Winnie and wrote to her in A.M. I rode to Coralville with Rob to see Mrs [Gant]. Read in evening Saturday April 23- 1932. I did the regular work. Cora took me home with her late in the forenoon and Rob took Hattie & me Mrs McElroys to The Elder Daughters party A very pleasant time. Hattie came home with me by taxi. Rob came here for her. Letter from Ella Nagle. I read in the evening. A rainy night. Sunday April 24- 1932. I went to S.S & Church with Ott. I read most of the PM. Wrote Ida. After supper wrote Ott Seibert & Mrs Wade. More rain tonight Monday April 25- 1932. I did the work about the house. I rested awhile in P.M. Cora & Hattie here. I rode up to The Library with them for some books. Read in evening. Weather cool. Bro Charlies birth-day Tuesday April 26- 1932. I did some sewing in the way of mending and read awhile. Hattie busy with sewing today It is cold & cloudy. Letter from Laura tells she will not teach next year. Edith will have same school In evening wrote Grace M- sent Lauras letter Wrote Birdie Mrs Gay up stairs awhile.
