Sunday June 12- 1932. I did not feel able to go to church and Winnie would not go with-out me. We both lay down in PM Ott here after supper. I read some and went to bed. Monday June 13- 1932. I did not feel as well as I would like but we went up to Hatties luncheon for The Home Board ladies. Mrs Gay took us. It was such a pleasant affair. I did enjoy it. I lay down most of the evening. Ott here after supper. A shower in PM. Tuesday June 14- 1932. I was able to do the morning work. Letter from Laura. They are going to drive to Washington D.C. Wrote Mattie Stitt. Hattie here in PM. Later Ott and Rob both here. Ott brought me $90.00 Rate interest and Rob brought $80.00 from Bonds. I have $405.00 in Robs box I lay down most of the afternoon. Went to bed early. Wednesday June 15- 1932. I feel quite a lot better. Did AM work and wrote Mrs Alice Robinson and Nellie Boswell. Letter from Ella Nagle. Wrote Laura & Edith. Rested and read some. Thursday June 16- 1932. I did some extra work in AM. Birdie rode up from Burlington with friends. Was here for dinner Hattie had a luncheon in Cedar Rapids for Coras birth-day. The Swisher Girls & Netta Mercer. Rob came here for Birdie at 4.30. I read in evening. Wrote Ida in forenoon. A pleasant day. I feel better Wrote LeGrand by air mail
