Thursday June 23- 1932. William & Hattie came at 8.30 and we went down to Stevens. Libbie not so well. We came back by Hills. I got some things in town. a letter here from Mrs Emmans at Lake-land Fla telling that Cousin Millie Byington died in March. after dinner wrote Sister Ida. Read in the evening Friday June 24- 1932. We cleaned up the rooms Winnie went to The Library for books. I cut out a kimona and sewed on that. Minnie Showers here most of the afternoon There was a hard rain in the evening with much lightning Saturday June 25- 1932. Busy most of the forenoon. Soon after dinner Rob took us up to "The Pastime" to meet Hattie to attend picture show. We walked home. Letter from Laura They reached Washington D.C. Wednesday night Sunday June 26- 1932. Ott went to Chicago in A.M William took Winnie & me to church. We rode home with The Andersons. Rain in the PM. We both slept some. I wrote Laura before we went to church. Read paper most of the evening Monday June 27- 1932. I finished my light kimona. William here in forenoon Later Hattie & Birdie was here. She came up with friends to stay till tomorrow. Mrs A.G. Smith and Edith called after supper. Letter from Alice Condon today weather very pleasant.
