Sunday August 28- 1932.
We went to S.S & Church with Elmer & Ida After we had dinner Rob came for us to spend the afternoon. Mr & Mrs Sickles, Cal Eggleston and Birdie had come up from Burlington Got home at six oclock. read some in the evening wrote M.E. Culbertson
Monday August 29- 1932.
Such a hot day. I did not feel well was lying down part of the time. Winnie up town in the AM. I on the porch in the evening. Mrs Fisher moved away today.
Tuesday August 30- 1932.
Such a hot day. Winnie up town in AM. After dinner we both lay down. Evening on the porch.
Wednesday August 31st 1932.
It rained and turned cooler this forenoon. I wrote Mrs Falk and Ott Seibert Winne did some washing I busy with things about the house. Slept in PM. Wrote LeGrand in evening.
Thursday September 1st 1932.
At home all day. Did regular work in AM some ironing. slept in PM. Tishie Hedges here awhile Read in evening and went to bed early. It is 21 years today since Mother died
Friday September 2- 1932.
Rode up town with Mrs Gay. Was at Drs Smiths office paid the last of my bill. Did errands walked home. Letter from Mary at Mule Shoe Texas. Wrote Laura & Edith Read in evening Weather very pleasant.
