123 Monday September 26- 1932. I did some washing and cleaning got my dinner slept awhile in PM and did some sewing. Ott here late in the afternoon. I read most of the evening Mrs Gay up awhile Tuesday September 27- 1932. Mary took me up town at nine oclock. I went to see Dr Ned Smith he thinks I am able to take the journey west. Hattie came for the rest of the forenoon. I went home with her for the rest of the day. I did some work after I came home. Weather pleasant No mail today. Wednesday September 28- 1932 I was home all day I was sewing and doing other things getting ready to go away Wrote Grace McCallister Mrs Greenholgh Williams Girls Lois Simpson Paul Whetstone L W Lawton The Browns at San Pedro [Winnie] a letter the others cards Thursday September 29- 1932. I sewed some in AM. I had a dress sent down but took it back. William took me up town I got my travelers checks. I was busy in PM and wrote Mrs Falk & Le Grand in evening Roland Moone called Friday September 30- I was busy in AM and The Hedges were here awhile Did some of my packing I rested awhile in afternoon Then Rob came and took me to the depot to get my ticket $106.00 and check suitcase I did some more packing. After supper Hattie came and stayed till mid-night. Rob came for her. I got some lunch and ready to go to late train West. Letters from Le Grand & Ida.
