Wednesday November 9- 1932. Late getting up. Mary took me up town to pay light bill. I wrote LeGrand and Mrs [Greenholgh] before dinner Spent all after noon over at The Legion bld, sewing. after supper wrote Ida Lois Simpson and Birdie. Rob looked at my savings he had charge of and reported $284.25 The returns from election largely democratic. Hoover defeated. Thursday November 10- 1932. Mrs Thomas called this morning to invite me to come to her home today to The Red luncheon. Cora came for me. Such a good time. Hattie stopped here and Mary came to take us to The Church. Ott & William already there An enjoyable evening. Wrote Winnie later "Armistice Day" Friday November 11- 1932. I was up at Hatties most of the forenoon with Mary The word came as I finished my dinner that Anna Denton had just died. I wrote Ida & Grace Taylor Mrs Gay took the letters to the PO. Letter from Mattie Stitt I wrote her in evening and talked to Laura Mason she could not come over. Saturday November 12- 1932. Hattie here for dinner. Later Mollie Stevens came Ott took Hattie & me out to Aunt Emmas. In evening wrote letters to Grace Mc. Alice Condon Laura & Edith a card to Winnie Sunday November 13- 1932. To SS & Church with Ott. Had dinner here. Ott came with Jeff & Julia to go to Anna Dentons funeral. So many there I went home with Ott and stayed till nearly ten oclock William brought me home Weather very nice.
