135 Thursday November 24- 1932. Hattie and I went over to The Legion Bld to church services Later Ott came and took us all over there. Rob & Cora came later. We had a fine dinner and visit Rob & Cora went home about three oclock. Rob came back for us and took us a nice ride. So passed Thanksgiving 1932. Wrote Winnie in evening fine day. Friday November 25- 1932. We were home all day I did a little sewing. We both slept in PM Mollie Stevens here in evening. The Whetsones drove to Des Moines today. Hattie reports Joe Williams greatly afflicted Ott had a telegram that Maggie Chamberlin had died in New York. The burial will be in Clarinda Saturday November 26- 1932. Did morning work, and sewed some. Ott here before noon he brought me $90.00 Rote interest. Rob came to take us up there for dinner. We came back with him and got ready to go over to Helen [Whinnerys?]. Cora & Hattie took us with them. I had a letter from George Nagel in Louisville that Cousin Ella died Tuesday and was buried Friday I wrote George Nagle & Emma Herriott Sunday November 27- 1932. We were ready for S S. When Ott came for us. A nice day. I got dinner here at home Ida rested soon after dinner. I did some other things before I slept awhile. Wrote Laura & Edith in the evening.
