Friday December 23- 1932. I was busy most of the AM. Washed windows. Ott here for dinner. I wrapped some packages for home folks. I read in the evening and was down stairs awhile. Weather unsettled. more mail today. Saturday December 24- 1932. I was late getting up. A very dark day. William came about eleven oclock to take me up town. I went to The bank and got my check cashed. I then bought a bushel of apples for The Byingtons and oranges for The Lemon family and we took them out there. It was time then for William to take his Father home. I slept awhile in PM. Cora & Hattie here a moment They brought me fruit from Rob. Down stairs in evening Sunday December 25- 1932. I was ready to go to S S with The Andersons. After Church William Mary & Buddy came to take us up to Hatties she rode home with us. I opened my presents I found there. A good dinner and visit. I went home with Byingtons and later The Whetstones came for supper They went home early. William & Mary brought me home later The weather pleasant, no snow. I did not feel very well Monday December 26- 1932 There was nothing doing today. No mail or stores open. I went home with Rob at noon and did not come home till after supper. a day pleasantly spent. The weather fine. Was down stairs in the evening
