Friday February 8th 1929 I went up town in forenoon and got black satin for a dress. Worked all afternoon and evening on my rug. A letter from Mabel McDougall telling of her Fathers last day. His death and burial. Saturday February 9th 1929 It had been the coldest night of the season. I went to Miller to a food sale. Then did some work about the house. Ott here for dinner. Hattie in the afternoon. Wrote Lou Simpson. Sunday February 10th 1929 I went to church by taxi. It was Communion Sunday. Mary came for Ott and they brought me home. I slept part of the afternoon. Wrote Joe Woolf in evening. below zero today. Monday February 11th 1929 I did some washing in AM. Was up town in afternoon. It was very cold. I finished the towels for the store. Had letters from Winnie & and Mrs Falk. Wrote Ella Nagle in evening. Tuesday February 12th 1929 Emma Fellman here all day sewing. I had a letter from L D L. It was nine oclock when I got the house in order after the sewing so went to bed. Wednesday February 13th 1929 Did some ironing and mending in AM. After dinner wrote Mrs Falk and Mabel McDougall. Then went up town, met Hattie & Cora at the picture show about Africa. It was time to get supper when I got home. I wrote a letter to Lou Reeves and note to Arth Folsom in evening.
