Thursday February 14th 1929 I had a letter from Lydia and wrote her before dinner. Spent the afternoon at Aunt Emmas. I wrote Winnie in the evening and read some. Friday February 15th 1929 I was busy about the house most of the forenoon. Hattie came for dinner. We visited in afternoon. She did not go home till four oclock. I read in evening. Saturday February 16th 1929 I spent the afternoon with doing things about the house. Erma came to finish every dress in afternoon. She did not get done till five oclock. Hattie went to Burlington in PM. The streets are all ice. Read in evening Sunday February 17th 1929 I went to church by taxi. Mary came for Ott and they brought me home. I read most of the afternoon, and wrote Mabel Mason in the evening. It thawed some today. Monday February 18th 1929 Very cold 10 below zero. I was not out all day. Bro Ott came to have dinner with me. I worked on my rug some. Hattie got back from Burlington. Wrote Louie Bremner in evening. Tuesday February 19th 1929 I sewed some on my rug in forenoon. Went up town at one oclock. Called on Mrs Wilson. Did several errands. Got my glasses changed. It was four oclock when I got home. It snowed last night. 7 below zero this morning. Wrote Joe William and Lizzie Lindley.
