Wednesday March 6th 1929 I had a letter from Hattie, she goes to see Edith about the 15th. Soon after dinner Kennith took us over to The Beach. A delightful trip. When we got back found callers here. After they left Mrs Falk and I drove down town. Then went back in the evening. They to church. I stopped to listen to the band play. Mrs Lowe was with us. Letters from Mattie Stitt & Mrs Moore. Thursday March 7th 1929 Spent the day quietly here. Slept in afternoon. We drove down town later. There was neighbors to play cards in the evening. I was reading delightful weather. Friday March 8th 1929 A beautiful day. Wrote to Mrs E B Moore & Cousin Jen with some cards to others. We was at a picture show in the afternoon. To The Minstrels in the evening. letter from Ida. Saturday March 9th 1929 Very warm, was down town with Mrs Falk all afternoon. We called on Mrs Merriman. Then drove over to Lake Helen to see Mrs Warren and stopped at Setters.
