Monday March 11th 1929 Pleasant again. Kennith away for several days. I wrote Lydia in AM. We went down town soon after dinner. I did some errands. We called at Mrs Taylors, Mrs Reimers & Mrs McDonalds. After supper went back to Science Lecture. I don't care much for them. Tuesday March 12th 1929 I wrote Emma Herriott and some cards. I began a tatting center piece. We went down town rather late. Called on Mrs Emmerson. Mrs Falks had some business calls to make. Friend here to play cards in evening. Wednesday March 13th 1929 Wrote to Mrs Gay and Lou Hedges. I worked on tatting. We went down town to a picture show and back in the evening to Science meeting. Letter from Hattie. Thursday March 14th 1929 We were home all day. The Kimballs called. Went down late for mail. Kennith back at noon. Mrs Falks Chicago friends got back tonight and neighbors here to play cards. Friday March 15th 1929 I wrote four letters in forenoon, to Winnie, Fannie, Birdie and Anna Kleim. Late in the PM Mrs Falk took us down to Mrs Fishers for a call with tea and cake served. Then the visitors went to see about reservations. The evening at home. I wrote Cousin Jen and enclosed letter I had from Lydia.
