Saturday March 16th 1929
A fine rain last night. Cooler today. Wrote Lydia
in AM. Worked on tatting. Letter to Fannie. D rove
to DeLeon in the afternoon and down town met
several I know. bought a hat. Evening here.
Sunday March 17th 1929
Went to S S & church. Mrs Dinse and Charlotte with
me. Then went to Science church. We were all at
Mrs Learys for dinner. Mrs Lowe came and brought
Mrs Burnett who used to live in Iowa City.
Then came out here later. Evening here. Wrote Hattie.
Monday March 18th 1929
Wrote Jene Henderson and worked on tatting. We
went down town in PM. I got my hat. Letters from
Fannie & Ida. Wrote Hattie and sent Idas letter.
Mrs Falk had a card party in the evening.
Tuesday March 19th 1929
We left here at 9.30 for Mountain Lake to see The
Bird Sanctuary & singing tower. Called on Mrs Seaton.
I had dinner. The place was beautiful. we left after
the bells played at 4.30. Had supper at Orlando.
Home at 9.45. A wonderful day in every respect.
Wednesday March 20th 1929
I wrote Lydia & Mrs Flager at Daytona Beach. We went
down late in PM. I ordered Pullman space. Sat on
Mrs Learys porch to talk with Miss Stackslater while
the rest were busy. To Science Meeting in the
evening. Such stuff. Letter from Ott.
