Thursday March 21st 1929 I worked on tatting in AM. A card from Hattie at Youngstown and letter from Harry Rowe. Mrs Falk had some ladies to play cards in PM. Very warm. Friday March 22nd 1929 I worked on tatting. The ladies went down town with Mr Falk. We all went to The Station with Mrs Dinse & Charlotte. I rode with Mrs Falk. Stopped to see about reservations. The neighbors here to play cards in evening. Letter from Mattie Fletcher. wrote her in evening. Saturday March 23rd 1929 It was an unpleasant day with hot wind. I worked on tatting. In PM went down with Mrs Falk. We called at Lowes. I got another hat. Letters from Hattie & Emma Herriott. Sunday March 24th 1929 I did not go to church but down to dinner with Kennith. I had letters from Lydia, Jesse Henderson, and Winnie. I wrote to Mattie Stitt, Mrs Doyle, Winnie, Lydia, Ida and Mary & William. a very hot day. Monday March 25th 1929 Went to town with Mrs Falk and to Daytona Beach by Bus. Found a good room near Mrs Flager. Called at The Dunlap home, found Mrs Williams there as it had been left to her for her lifetime. Rested in the PM and spent the evening up on The Beach with Mrs Flager. Wrote Aunt Emma and Hattie while over there.
