Tuesday March 26th 1929 Went to see Mrs Clements then to talk to Mrs Williams little while. Was with Mrs Flager till nearly noon. Come back to DeLand. I got my other hat. Mrs Falk was in town for me. I was very tired it has been so warm. Letter from Mrs Doyle. Wednesday March 27th 1929 I was busy at home in the AM. Went to town early, sent the box with things I packed in AM. Got my Pullman ticket. We went to a good picture show. Spent the evening with The Pickens while the rest went to Science meeting. Wrote Mrs Gay and sent check cards to Joe Woolf, Tishie & Mrs Flager. Thursday March 28th 1929 I did some working and more packing. Mrs Falk took me to the Station for afternoon train. Such a beautiful ride to Jacksonville. Every thing so green. Went to Flagler Hotel had supper and wrote LeGrand, Mrs Doyle, Winnie & Fannie. Letter from Hattie. Wrote to her. Friday March 29th 1929 I slept so well had breakfast and went to The Station. I had such a nice car to travel in. Read some, went to bed early. We came through much flood water in Alabama. It was eleven years today since Will and I left Oklahoma City together for the last time. It is also Bro Lees birthday.
