Thursday May 9th 1929 I put up curtains in the AM. The Byingtons took me up to Hatties. We were there for her birthday. I stopped down town to get some things, bought a magazine rack. Went to prayer meeting with the Andersons. Wrote Winnie after I came home. Friday May 10th 1929 I washed curtains for front room. Soon after dinner went up town to take my iron to be fixed and did other errands. Ironed curtains before supper and made a fruit salad to take tomorrow. Letter from Joe Woolf. Saturday May 16th 1929 I put up the rest of the curtains before I left to go to Mrs McElroys to Elder Daughters party. It was raining some so I had a taxi. Afternoon Hattie & I went by street car out to Aunt Ermas. Anna very poorly. Hattie stopped here till Rob came for her I went up town after supper. Got my iron and other things. Sunday May 12th 1929 It is 40 years today since Will & I were married. I walked to S S and church and rode home with Elmer A. I slept part of afternoon. I am very tired from the work of last week. I read in the evening Monday May 13th 1929 I went up town and bought material for kimona and did other errands. Was at Dr Jacobsens office to have impression taken for teeth. Busy at home. Went back to see about teeth late in afternoon. Crotcheted in evening
