Monday June 3rd 1929 I went up to the dentists and paid some bills. Soon after dinner to Hattie by street car. I brought home some things from there when I came with Rob after supper. I had a long letter from Laura Mason. Some word from Mattie Fletcher. Wrote to her. Tuesday June 4th 1929 I went up town paid bill at Means and light co. Got new shoes at [Losery?] I hemmed tea towels for Hattie in PM. Mary & William here in the evening. I finished chair back cover for Mason girls and washed it out. Wednesday June 5th 1929 I began work on Hattie rug in the AM. She came soon after dinner and we went to The Church as we came home I got graduating gift for Martha Garrett at Seattle. After supper we called on Mrs Webb. Then Hattie went home. Tishie & Ruth Hedges here for evening. Thursday June 6th 1929 I worked most of the day on the rug. I had letter from Birdie and Ida. Wrote her after supper. weather fine. Did up package. Wrote about it and took to the PO for Martha Garret. Wrote Mabel McDougall. Friday June 7th 1929 Worked on rug most of the day. The girls of both \families at [Meta?] [Mesors] and all went to the flower show at Cedar Rapids. Wrote [Winnie?] Garrett. Saturday June 8th 1929 I worked on the rug when not busy with the work. Hattie spent part of afternoon with me. I went up town after supper to get things to take with us to eat as we expect to picnic in Burlington.
