Tuesday August 20th 1929 I was home working on my rug. Man here fixing the road and room in the cellar. Two months tonight Fannie died. Ott and I on the porch in evening. Wednesday August 21st 1929 Worked on rug part of forenoon. Was up and went through the old house. Men at work there. I came to town with Ott after lunch. Wrote LeGrand, Mattie Stilt, Birdie and Mrs Doyle. Very warm. Went to the cemetery. Thursday August 22nd 1929 I worked on Hatties rug all day. She came over in the afternoon and stayed till bed time. Ott and Blanche Jellison and Cora came for her. A very warm day. Friday August 23rd 1929 Wrote William in A.M. Lou Sherfey VanCamps son who lives in Dakota called. I came to town with Ott after dinner. Letters from L D L, Winnie & Lydia. Wrote Lizzie & Winnie. Hattie, Cora & Blanche came and later Mrs. Schultz and daughters. I took them over to the Legion Bldg for supper. Whetstones took me home. Saturday August 24th 1929 I finished with the braiding of Hatties rug in the A.M. Came over with Ott after dinner. Later Dorothy Cosby sent for me. The Whetstones here at Schultz. Mildred McCallister took me home. Ott and I sat on the porch most of the evening. I had a letter from Emma Herriott and Deborah Celeb.
