Monday October 7th 1929 Did some telephoning. Had letters from Bro Ott & LeGrand. Wrote Hattie. Paul Whetstone came to take me a beautiful ride. Left me at Robonears. Back to the city by street car at late bed-time. Tuesday October 8th 1929 Wrote Ida & Cousin Jen. Had letters from Edith and LeGrand. Paul came and took me out to Belle Murreys. She and I spent part of the afternoon with Mrs Wade who lives nearby. I came back to The Rosslyn by street car. Spent evening here. Wednesday October 9th 1929 I had phone calls and Mary Holson here to call. Late Paul came and we drive to Fullerton where I had a visit & lunch with Nettie Moore. We came back through Altadena where I saw Harry Rowe. Soon after Paul left me Rob Lindley came. We had supper together. Then Ott was ready to go home. I rode out with them and came back by street car. Letters from Bro Ott & Hattie. A full day. But not so very tired. Thursday October 10th 1929 I went out to breakfast, wrote to Winnie Mrs Rowe & Lydia, Maurice Briggs came to take me to lunch. I was in my room till four oclock. Mary Bird came and then Anna McCallister to take us to the home home she built in company with a lady & daughter. We came back by street car. A delightful visit.
