Friday November 1st 1929 Mary brought me home. Clara Remley here to call. I took her out to dinner. Then went to Aunt Emmas for the afternoon. When I got back went with Hattie & Cora to do an errand. Had my supper. Was down with The Gays. Saturday November 2nd 1929 I did quite a washing. The things dried so soon I ironed in the afternoon. Went out to pay telephone bill. After supper was up town for some things. Then read in a book. William & Mary here a little while. Sunday November 3rd 1929 Ott took me to S S & church. Hattie & I both went home with The Byingtons. Late afternoon we went to the cemetery. Left Hattie at home and me here. I got some supper. Wrote Cousin Jen and read in a book. Monday November 4th 1929 I put in all forenoon writing in this book. I slept most of the afternoon. I looked over checks my ticket west 127.03. Expenses extra 79.56. Total 206.59. I read in a book all evening. Mrs Gay had a party. Tuesday November 5th 1929 I was up town in AM. Paid light & gas bill. Then in Otts office looking over list if securities. Hattie was here in PM. After supper met Cora & Mrs Barber at The Englert to see "Harold Loyd" in "Welcome Danger." Very funny! Hattie walked back home with me. I read till late bed-time. Weather nice again.
