Sunday February 16th 1930 Was on tome at Jacksonville. Had breakfast and left for DeLand at 9.30. E very thing so green and pretty. Mr Falk not at The Station. I went over to Hutchinson Hall, had dinner. She came for me later. Evening at home. Monday February 17th 1930 I wrote Laura, Winnie & Ida Anderson. A letter from Laura does not give an encouraging report of Lydia. The Baker from New Albany Ind here for dinner. We took Mrs Baker down town. Did some errands. Called at Hospital to see Mrs Bailwick. Evening listening to Radio. Letter from Hattie telling of snow there. Also letter from Alberta. Tuesday February 18th 1930 I did some washing and wrote Hattie. I was busy with my own affairs most of the forenoon. We went down town in afternoon and to the picture show "General Crock." Home in evening. Wednesday February 19th 1930 We left in AM to go to Mrs Warrens over at Lake Helen. I had a letter from Brs Ott written Sunday AM that told Frank Stevens died Saturday evening. After we came home. I wrote Mattie Stitt, Laura Mason & Sister Ida. I went to Science meeting with The Falks in the evening. weather perfectly delightful. Letter from Hattie on late mail.
