Saturday March 8th 1930 I did some fancy work and wrote LeGrand & Laura Mason in AM. We went to town in PM. I had letter from Hattie, Mrs Searles, Ida, Tishie & Will Work. The Kimballs here in the evening. I wrote Mrs Searles to send check to Mrs Edwards about The Press and Mrs Doyle. A card from her. Sunday March 9th 1930 I went to church with The Falks. There was callers in the afternoon among them Kenneth Baker, his wife and her grandmother. Letter from Ida Anderson. Wrote to her. Monday March 10th 1930 Was busy in forenoon. Wrote Hattie & Ella Nagle. We went down town in PM. I got my Pullman ticket. Mailed letters and went to Pickens, found Mrs Pope alone. Others came later. Evening at home. Letter from Mattie Stitt. Tuesday March 11th 1930 Wrote Mattie Stitt, Mrs Dinse and sister Ida. The Lowes came and took me home with them to lunch. Later Mrs Falk came and we all went to a picture show. Did errands an came home for the evening. Wednesday March 12th 1930 Wrote Mattie Fletcher and M E Culbertson in the AM. We were home till 5 oclock. Drove down for mail. I had letters from Ott, Hattie, Winnie & Emma Herriott, Wrote a note to Hattie in time for late mail. We went back to town after supper. The family to evening meeting. I spent the time at Pickens. fine day.
