Thursday May 15th 1930 A month today since I got home. I wrote Winnie and sent her tatting for pillow cases. Hattie here awhile in AM. I went to see George Arliss in "Disraeli" in PM. Began rug for Hattie later. Friday May 16th 1930 I worked all day at Hattie rug. I had a letter from Ida. Harry is very miserable. Weather cool. Saturday May 17th 1930 Home all day working on rug. Ott here for dinner. Later in the day Hattie came. letters from Ella Nagle and Kate Rowe. A chilly day. Rain all evening. Sunday May 18th 1930 A cold chill day. I wrote Betty Roswell. Ott took me to church, William & Mary drove to Chicago. I spent the day at Otts. Buddy with me while Ott at the office after supper. I wrote Laura in the afternoon and in the evening wrote Mrs Dinse, Mrs Phelps, Mrs Seaton and Mrs Pape. It rained all evening. Monday May 19th 1930 I worked on the rug. Went to the four oclock train with The Whetstones to meet Hattie Miller. I got a box of cookies and letter of to LeGrand after supper. letter from Winnie. Tuesday May 20th 1930 I worked all day on the rug. Only stopped to get my meals. I did write a few lines to Winnie. Mary home this evening. William stopped in Davenport. Weather cool enough for fire in the house.
