Monday August 11th 1930 I walked up town to the dentist. My leg hurt so I took treatment. Came home by Bus. Worked on Hatties rug in PM. Went home with [Ott?] at supper time. Tuesday August 12th 1930 Ott brought me home by eight oclock. I worked on the rug all AM. Letter from Winnie & card from Mary. Birdie & Hattie part of the PM. Home with Ott at 5 oclock. Wednesday August 13th 1930 I worked on the rug all AM. I had a letter from Laura telling me much of Lydias last days. The Whetstones took me to Mildred McCollisters from the PM. I stopped at Otts. He was away part of the evening. Thursday August 14th 1930 I had only been home a little while when Hattie phoned. They were going to Cedar Rapids. They came for me. We had lunch at [Killoreys?]. Went to see "Manslaughter." Very good. I bought a black bag. Ott away down near Keokuk. He got back before 6 oclock. Wrote Winnie. Friday August 15th 1930 I finished Hatties rug by three oclock. I went home with Ott for lunch and e were up at Hatties for supper and a last visit with Birdie. It is warm again. Saturday August 16th 1930 I came home early, gave the house a good cleaning in AM. Did some washing in PM. Rested till Ott came at 5.30. Birdie sick, not able to go home. A shower late tonight.
