Saturday August 23rd 1930 Cora brought me home. I wrote LeGrand and Paul Whetstone. William here a few moments. Mary will go with us. Busy all afternoon with getting ready to go to Delavan tomorrow. Cora came for me at supper time. Rob on his way home from South Bend with a new car. Sunday August 24th 1930 \William came for me at 8.30. I stopped to get the rest of my things ready while he went for the other car, Mary & Buddy. We had picnic dinner on the way. Reached Delavan at 4.15. The girls had a nice supper. We went to the cemetery. Around town some. The folks started back at 7.30 to stay in Galesburg. Monday August 25th 1930 We went to Peoria with Mrs Price and daughter. The girls did a lot of errands. I got a dress. It was six oclock when we got home. The Fachlers here later. Tuesday August 26th 1930 I did some mending and wrote Mrs Falk. The girls went to a funeral near by in the afternoon. They had a caller in the evening. Wednesday August 27th 1930 I read most of the forenoon. Edith did washing. Laura busy about the house. The girls went to Mrs Shays funeral in afternoon.
