Sunday October 19th 1930 Charlie Taylor came for me to go to their home by street car. His sister came for lunch with the little girl. She took us a wonderful drive leaving me at the hotel at 6 oclock. Supper in The Coffee room. Was on the Mezoniene floor. Then to bed. Monday October 20th 1930 Out for breakfast. Letter from Hattie. Ott to Peckhams for lunch. Other company there. A very pleasant day. One of the ladies brought me back. Lizzie Felkner spent the evening with me. Tuesday October 21st 1930 After breakfast went to Inglewood by street car. Ott not very well. I came back by six oclock. I had supper at "Wilcox". Letter from Ida. Wrote to her and Joe Williams & Kate Rowe. Was down stairs for a little farewell visit with the ladies I know. Wednesday October 22nd 1930 I did packing. Had a number of phone calls. Went out for lunch. Later Marnie Briggs & daughter came and took me to The Station to check suit case & fix ticket. Went to Station in Hotel Bus. Had supper on the train. So I start home from a delightful stay in Los Angeles. Thursday October 23rd 1930 A comfortable & interesting days ride. I stepped of the train at Tuscon. It looks very natural. I had two meals in the diner. Went to bed early.
