Monday November 10th 1930 I washed curtains and did cleaning in AM. Letter from Ida. I wrote Frankie Pointain. I rested awhile after dinner. Then ironed curtains and put them up. Wrote Mattie Fletcher and read in the evening. Tuesday November 11th 1930 This is Armistice day. Twelve years ago I was sick out at Sister Idas. I washed curtains in AM and wrote Mrs Falk. Went to a picture show with Hattie in PM. Ironed curtains later and put them up. Wednesday November 12th 1930 William came and we left for Des Moines at 8:30. A fine ride. Reached there at noon. Had lunch and engaged rooms at "The Brown". Then he took me out to Mrs. Wilsons. We had supper at The Hotel and went to a picture show. A beautiful day. Thursday November 13th 1930 William took me up to the Williams Girls. I did not get back till after three o'clock. We left for home at five. Had supper in Marengo. Found letters here from Laura and Winnie. A most delightful trip. Friday November 14th 1930 I wrote Laura & Winnie. Went up town and it was nearly noon when I got back. Ott & Will Bremner called. I wrote Mabel McDougall. Will Bremier came at three oclock to take us over to Otts. Mary & Emily at a party. Mr & Mrs Moore came from Minneapolis. After supper William brought Hattie & me home.
